Our food program
After learning that local elementary children were only eating while at school, we knew we had to help.
14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?
James 2:14-15
Those packages contain non perishable food for every member of the household. It includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the entire weekend. The food is purchased during the week, packed into bags and boxes, and delivered to families at their homes on Fridays.
Before the school year ends, CTM holds a food drive for non perishable foods. This food, combined with perishables purchased on delivery day, are packaged for participating families and delivered to their homes once a week. We believe children should never be without food.
The Table has, and continues to, partner with the community to provide meals and much more for these families!
